1.   Shea butter mask for your lips 

Lipmasks are super effective! If you suffer from dry lips, you should definitely try this mask!

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of liquid Shea Butter
  • 2 drops of vanilla extract

Put all ingredients in a small bowl and mix well. You can apply the lipmask with your fingers, but it’s more hygienic to use another article. Leave the mask on for 20 minutes, and remove it afterwards with a tissue. If you keep the mask in a small bowl in the fridge, you can use the mask to 2 weeks, daily.

2.   Lip Balm

Ingredients:

  • 1 part Beeswax
  • 1 part Shea Butter
  • 3 parts vegetable oil like Jojoba oil, almond oil, avocado oil, argan oil, hemp seed oil or coconut oil

Use a heatproof bowl or measuring cup and keep it standing in a pan of hot water (au bain marie). Put the beeswax, Shea butter and vegetable oil over it and melt all over low heat until the mixture is liquid.Remove the cup from the water, ensure that no water gets into the can, dry the outside thoroughly. Mix all ingredients and stir well. Do you want to add essential oil, wait a moment until everything cools below 40 degrees. Stir the ingredients again.Use a suitable jar or lip balm stick and fill it with your homemade lip balm. Let it cool down. Wenn the liquid further thickened and has cooled down, you can start using the lip balm

 Extra additions to you lip balm!Essential oils such as wild orange, vanilla, bergamot, cinnamon, tea tree, clove, lemon, lavender, peppermint and possibly 1 drop melaleuca for cold sores. Pay attention! Do not use too much essential oil, preferably 1 drop up to 2 drops and if you do not know the oil operation yet, because some oils such as peppermint, cinnamon and tea tree can be quite strong. Use up to one drop of tea tree oil, combine this with one drop of lavender, the scent is pleasant. One tip is to add apply the essential oil if you mix has cooled.

  1. Shea Butter scrub

By just adding one ingredient to the Shea butter mask, you can easily make a scrub! You can choose a scrub for the face or body scrub for the body.

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of liquid Shea Butter
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 4 drops of vanilla extract

Put all ingredients in a bowl and mix them well. Clean the face and scrub your face then gently for one minute. Rinse the scrub off your face and cover your face with Shea butter. This mask can optionally also be used for the entire body if you have sensitive skin.

  1. Shea Butter bodyscrub

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons liquid Shea Butter
  • 4 tablespoons salt
  • 6 drops of vanilla extract

Put all ingredients in a bowl and mix them well. Wet your whole body in the shower and scrub your entire body with gentle massaging movements for several minutes.

 Yet another scrub:

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Shea butter (melted)
  • 2 tablespoons sugar

Mix this all well together and you have a very good and nourishing scrub for your skin!

Please note that this mask is not suitable for the face. 

  1. Bodycreame

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon of coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon Shea butter
  • 2 tablespoons of sweet almond oil

(Of course you can make more)

 Another Shea Butter Body Lotion

Ingredients:

  • 280 grams Shea Butter
  • 170 grams of vegetable oil
  • 10 grams starch
  • 15 ml perfume oil

Melt the Shea butter and then add all the ingredients to the bowl, mix it all very well. Place it briefly in the refrigerator and ready your body lotion is!
